2 adults. 4 youths. 2:00 PM. Everyone liked their food. Kids really liked my fries. We all drank water and got what we wanted. Bill was $39. Worth the money.

Food taste great. Service is on point. Been here two or three times. Peaceful environment to just relax and not be too far from the water. Very close to the bridge that goes over to the beach. Great location. Love the breakfast and lunch options.

This place has decent breakfast food and incredibly slow, inattentive service. We went this morning for breakfast before driving back home, and we ended up being there for an hour and a half - not by choice. We called in our way, and they added us to the wait list, which was nice. We only waited 5 minutes for our table once we got there, but we waited another 7-10 for our server to greet us and get our drink order. She was very curt and unpleasant, not a great way to start the morning. After she finally came back to take our order, it took another 25-30 minutes for our breakfast to make its way to our table. The food was pretty good: an egg white omelet with turkey sausage, a few pancakes, half an avocado eggs Benedict. Our server brought the check fairly soon after we finished eating, but again she took a long time to come back to run the credit card. If you decide to go here, make sure you have plenty of time to dedicate to breakfast. Otherwise, try Venus or First Watch.

We ate at Maggie Mae's on the Bluffs and weren't blown away. It was good, but nothing made it stand out above any other place in the area. My biggest struggle in Florida is finding a restaurant that blows my socks off... Most are on par, like Maggie Mae's. Good solid menu of choices and good food. Expect to wait a bit for a seat on the weekends and during peak season.

I have been here almost every weekend now since I stumbled upon it. The casual breakfast diner located right before the causeway is a brilliant location to stop before an all day beach adventure. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the beautiful Florida weather. Now onto the food. I have been recently introduced to my new favorite, corn beef hash. I have always avoided it because it was some canned dog food fried in a skillet. Maggie Mae's does it right! Fresh potatoes, thick chunks of corn beef, and a flavor you couldn't believe. If that's not your style, the hash brown casserole is an equally as delicious option. I'm not big on spicy foods but my breakfast counter part gets home sick for his Arizona heat. Maggie Mae's offers brilliant options for you foodies who want steam Rollin out of your ears. The only negative would be the lack luster pancakes. I wasn't a fan. This is more of a hearty breakfast place!

Excellent service. We did not wait even when it was busy. Cool menu. They will put bananas and peanut butter in their omelets and scrambles. Great prices. A must try on the Clearwater Beach breakfast scene. I had the Maggie's mess with home fries in the scramble. We dined with Alf, ET, Sinatra, Bat Man and Robin to mention a few looking on. I would give it five stars except the mushrooms in my scramble were canned, not fresh (but the spinach was!) and I asked twice for well done home fries and they were quite the opposite.

This place was really just (average) at Best .... Friendly staff and pretty girls everywhere , however the food was really just mediocre at best. Their recipes are what you could easily make at home. Not much proprietary uniqueness to the food , I expected much more

Cold potatoes, paper-thin ham fried so/ hard that the edges curled, biscuit stuck to roof of the mouth, struggle through dogs and umbrellas to get in the front door, slow and un-concerned service. A significant number of better and far cheaper breakfast places in the neighborhood. Glad that I did not try the coffee!

I can't tell you the last time I had a breakfast that good. I ordered the Farmer's feast. Excellent. I especially liked the sausage gravy. Perfect. Eggs aee eggs. My bacon was crispy as requested and it appears to be a thick cut bacon. I cleaned my plate. Update: I bought some of their chocolate chip cookies to take home. These cookies are the most delicious cookies I've ever had and trust me I've tried a lot of cookies. Good food. Good service. Good time.

Maggie Mae's is a cute, cheap, quick little breakfast/lunch joint. I had been once to the other location and came here for the first time recently. It was super busy at about 11:30 AM, but we were seated right away. Our server was fast, nice, and attentive. I almost always go with breakfast but always take about 5-10 minutes saying in my head or to whomever I'm with, "What do I want, breakfast or lunch? Breakfast or lunch?" I never get anywhere and then when the pressure is on I finally decide. I went with breakfast on this occasion, although I could have found multiple items I would have chosen. Both my mum and I got the Tijuana omelette. It was really good. It had jalapeños, onion, peppers, black beans, jack cheese, and abodo sauce. The omelette had lots of flavor, was a big size and came with home fries, which were good, and I had honey wheat toast, also very good. The prices were fair, the food good, service good, atmosphere fun, would definitely return. Not the best thing ever but for a quick diner, definitely a 5 star in that category.

This breakfast spot was recommended to us by a 30 yr long resident of the Bellaire area. We are certainly glad we stopped in to give the delicious menu a try. The creme brûlée French Toast was indeed close to perfect as mentioned in other reviews. As a self proclaimed biscuit connoisseur - the biscuits were good but not the best I've had, the quest continues... Diner feel, coffee cups kept full at all times, small place, worth the short wait

Had the pork carnita hash, it was ok but didn't have much to it with flavor and was a bit dry.

I feel bad giving this review but I'm a HUGE breakfast lover and was so looking forward to having a good meal here and ended up not even eating more than half of what I ordered. I got an omelet and was disappointed with it. I love a good fluffy omelet and there's isn't. I'm back in town on vacation and going to give it another try for something different. We'll see how it goes!

This place is always a great time. The service is wonderful and the food is even better! We go weekly for brunch and their cross lunch and breakfast menu couldn't be better! Love it here!

As many times as I've attempted to enjoy a breakfast at Maggie Mae's, It's only happened three times. This place gets jammed especially on a weekend. So I figured I'd try to go on a Friday morning no later than 8:45 am. Yahtzee!!!!! I'm going to say this right out of the box......Maggie Mae's has the best breakfast, period. All the waitstaff are warm, friendly, and very efficient. On my visits here I've had; The Farmers feast, two fried eggs (any style), home fries, bacon ( or ham, sausage, or spam), biscuit and sausage gravy, Hillbilly Taters, country home fries, with onions, eggs, bacon, and sausage cooked together with sausage gravy on it. It comes with a biscuit and gravy too. Eggs Benedict Arnold, two split biscuits with fried eggs, cheese, sausage, and sausage gravy on top (instead of a hollandaise sauce ). If you've noticed a common thread here, yes I love sausage gravy. Every one of these breakfasts had the creamiest and most flavorful sausage gravy, ever!! The menu is extensive. Three egg omelets, four types of Egg Benedict's, breakfast sandwiches. Three selections of pancakes, buttermilk, blueberry, multigrain. French Toasts, toasted almond, Creme Brûlée, and Bananas Foster. Plus their egg specials. BTW, they also serve up a great lunch menu too. If there can be a negative, it would be the size of the restaurant. It's on the smaller side. But, this will be remedied very soon with the upcoming expansion into the adjoining unit. Do yourself a favor and check out Maggie Mae's on the Bluffs for a truly fantastic breakfast. Maggie Mae's on the Bluffs, is located on West Bay Dr. Just West of Indian Rocks Rd on the North side. It's in a small strip mall it shares with Bone Fish among others. This along with the other Maggie Mae's located in the Shoppes of Sand Key strip mall on Gulf Blvd. are family owned. They also own Backwaters, in the same Shoppes of Sand Key. All great restaurants.

Very good breakfasts. Cane you say Creme Brulee French Toast? Lots of variety Everything made to order. Sometimes service can be a bit slow but the menu warns you of that so no foul.

This place has great food and the staff is very nice and attentive!! Ask for Ally's section she's the best!! The corned beef has is the best I ever had hands down!! It's homemade with shredded brisket!!

All good. Pam eats all the time. Since when is it okay for employees to eat in front of customers. Food was great though.

Good breakfast. We got there early (around 9am) and did not have to wait for a table. However, within 30 minutes the place was entirely full. We sat outside and were envious of the other guests who brought their dogs. If only we had known! We left ours locked up back at our hotel.

This is one of my favorite breakfast places in the area. everything I've had has been delicious but one of my favorite dishes is Maggie's mess - - basically eggs scrambled with whatever you could want including less conventional options such as potatoes or black beans. Their hash brown casserole - - O'Brien - - is to die for. It is so rich and cheesy -great to share! Their biscuits are excellent. I also enjoy their coffee - - most places around here sell watered-down down blend coffee probably due to the demographic of senior citizens. they make their coffee adequately thick - I still like it a bit stronger, but its in the 95th percentile for diner style restaurants in Pinellas County. there is usually a long wait on weekends but they recently expanded and you can even call ahead to get a table. plenty of parking. it's in a strip mall so you don't get the same views as you get across the intercoastal at their other location, however there is more seating and the coffee is stronger :-).

"Fresh tasty breakfast" This place is miles ahead of any chsin place. Freshly cooked and ingredients that are a step above other places. Coffe flows from the friendly staff. The grits I had eith my farmers feast were lovely. Cheap well prepared food and nice staff. Add great views to that and you easily hit top score.

wow there is Denny's then there is ihop BUT nothing like Maggie Maes!!! this was the best breakfast I've had in a long time! everything is made fresh to order the eggs are real and the servers are delightful! absolutely love this little place I will definitely come back and I recommend anyone who is hungry and wanting breakfast to eat here!

The only reason this place got three stars instead of two is because of the bacon. Some of the best bacon I've ever had. Now, the faults - the rest of my food was average. I had eggs, bacon and a biscuit. I would've had pancakes but we got there at 12:15PM on a Sunday and they don't serve pancakes past noon. Don't ask me why. Everything else on the menu is available during all business hours, except for pancakes. But now I'm curious because maybe that means they're really good. Service was very slow. Granted, our server was busy, but not busy enough to justify the wait time for our food and drinks. The large orange juice was tiny as well. I'm thinking a small oj is in a shot glass. But the bacon, oh the bacon! Cooked perfectly, obviously high quality and just so, so good. I'll definitely be back for that and to try the mysterious pancakes.

Food's ok but indifferent service. Forgot hubby's soup and by the time our entrees came they still had forgotten it. When he told them he didn't want it at that point...no reaction, not even one "gee sorry 'bout that". Things don't always have to go perfectly but you should at least acknowledge when they don't, especially if it's something that can't be fixed. Hubby left half a tip since we received half the service. We'll stick with the Sand Key location from now on...

Came here for breakfast this am.... Totally awesome ! I had an omelette with mushrooms spinach and cheese with toast and hash brown casserole, I'm not a huge breakfast fan and I loved it. The casserole was so tasty. Brandon had biscuits and gravy and hasn't stopped talking about it yet. He also had scrambled eggs with cheese and home fries that he loved. He wasn't a fan of the sweet tea it wasn't the best but at least they had some but the food was on point. Definitely going back probably my new favorite spot, the rest of the menu looked good too might have to try out lunch sometime.

I come here for lunch often with the ladies from work for a quick delicious lunch. They serve breakfast and lunch and the food is great! Service is always on point and the outside seating is a plus for me because im in an office all day!

Only three stars because it was just ok. The atmosphere is fun and the staff is very friendly. It was busy on a Sunday morning but we were sat within 5 minutes. When we left around 10:30 there were tons of people waiting. I will say the eggs were amazing! But outside of that, everything else was just ok at best. The home fries they rave about didn't have much flavor, the corned beef hash they rave about was mostly hash, little corned beef and not fantastic by any means. The bacon was tasty, and the kids blueberry pancakes were ok. The server was quick to replenish water and coffee. What I did like is that they brought me a new coffee cup so I could get the combo of cream and sugar like I wanted. It's a fun place to go eat. I just wish I could give their food a better review.

Consistently good food at reasonable prices. I've never been blown away at how good everything was but I've never had anything that was bad there and more often than not there is nothing left on our plates.

FOOD IS GOOD I REPEAT FOOD GOOD!! SERVICE IS VERY HIT OR MISS, VERY MUCH MORE MISS. You can sit outside for ever and have waitressed walk right on buy, no hi I will be with you n a minute or anything. More than one time I have had to ask what the heck is goin on. Now they wear shirts that say your service depends on my mood and your attitude. Well they so got that right. Just can't be bothered anymore because its not worth my aggravation, I'm paying not to be annoyed. A Shame though I like bringing my dog. Oh well others to pick from.

I went here today for the first time. It was about 11:30, and the place was packed, with a waitlist. Luckily, I was flying solo, and I grabbed the last stool at the bar. It took about 5 minutes for the waitress to come so I could order, and about 15 solid minutes waiting for my food. As packed as it was, and as busy at the waitress was, she never let me go thirsty, so I have to give her props for that. The atmosphere is nothing special, and it's a small place. I went with the corn beef hash special that they had. It came with scrambled eggs and potatoes mixed together with the hash. I'm torn on this one, on one had, I have to give them props for making their own hash and not using the canned stuff....but it was pretty flavorless, so I'm almost wishing they did use the canned stuff. The portions were large, and you could choose toast or a biscuit as a side, I went with the toast, which I immediately regretted when I heard a couple next to me talk about how great the biscuits were. The price was reasonable, and the service was fair. I'll give it another shot next time I'm in the area.

My 2nd best Yelp find ever! Creme Brulee French Toast. OMG, this could be my last meal on earth if I was dying. The omelette with jalepenos was also amazing as was the home fries. Loved eating outside on a great morning.

  • Brian C.

I had a mediocre experience here. The waitress seemed overwhelmed and even though another server helped her out, things still went kind of crappy. The food was not great; I got a creme brûlée French toast that was just regular French toast with raw sugar on it. The home fries were undercooked and the eggs on the Benedict were also. As I write this I kind of want to give them less than two stars, but I don't have the heart. It seems like they may have tried, but I just wasn't all that pleased.

Ducked in for a quickie lunch to talk digital media and merchant processing and was I glad I did! * Awesome Chicken salad sandwich on soft Texas Toast. BIG chunks of chicken, not too much mayo or other filler gunk. SCORE! * Super fresh strawberries * Flavored creamers for your coffee, not just milk or half and half (SCORE!) * Friendly and attentive servers * Family atmosphere, with lots of repeat customers. * Indoor and outdoor seating * 3 fast lunches, delish and under $30 with tip The one and only thing that I did not like at all was the lemonade. It is made with some Tang-like green powder mix and tastes like limeade. Gross. Use real lemons and make real lemonade, priced accordingly, it will sell better and you may score that final, 5th and coveted Star. Good stuff, Cabeza OUT!

3.5 stars... Maggie Mae's is a diner located in a strip mall in Belleair. It's a pretty typical diner. They have a large menu with all the typical American diner food. Breakfast is of course available all day but not the pancakes for some reason. I got a biscuit and gravy and corned beef hash. The hash had large pieces of meat, it was definitely home made. I found the hash a tad on the dry side despite this and the gravy on the biscuit to have an unique flavor I couldn't pin point. Overall it was a good breakfast at a good price and ok service, nothing I would drive out of my way for again though. My girlfriend felt the same way about her breakfast. The only issue we had was we ordered a side of some fruit. This must have thrown them for a loop as they forgot about it and when we reminded our waitress she came back with a little bowl of fruit. It was mostly grapes, a couple strawberry pieces, some under ripe cantalope slices, and a pineapple ring from a can. Overall a decent diner if you're in the area though.

Loved this restaurant. The fact that it was crowded was the true sign of how good the food was. Absolutely de-lish breakfast experience. Will be sure to visit again next time in FL. French toast with almonds ... Mmm Mmm. Sits back a little from the road and may be hard to see but once found, you'll see definitely worth the effort. Our wait staff was very good too. Considering the crowd we received service very timely. They obviously have a systematic approach to dealing with the crowds of people. We did sit outside because it was a wait to sit inside but it was early morning so it was not too hot. Service was great, food wonderful, and the location although could be better was still nice. Will definitely return when in the area again.

My breakfast here was really good but we had a few problems that led to just 3 stars. I had the big breakfast burrito. It was really tasty! I enjoyed it a lot. The only problem was that our server had several regulars in her section that she seemed to keep talking to---a lot! I really wanted some sour cream to go with my food but our server did not check on us until I was almost finished. They warn you on the menu that things are slow there but....... Mr O got some kind of egg and bacon platter with a side of pancakes. I tasted that bacon and it was seriously perfect. Done just right. But when we tried the pancakes ( which looked delicious) they had a weird taste to them. That was disappointing because we had been looking forward to some yummy pancakes. I would definitely give them another try. Great potential here!

I love breakfast. The menu is very extensive, so there is definitely something for everyone, including the health conscious! You won't leave hungry. I had an egg white omelet with my choice of 4 veggies. The homefries are worth the calories! The coffee keeps flowing and I thought it was cute that they use a mish mash of different coffee mugs...made me feel at home. There is nothing spectacular about the décor, it's just a cute little place that definitely gets a lot of traffic.

Never got my food this am for breakfast so I can't judge the food - wife's meal was good. The service was not real good and a rare less than 3 star for me. It may have been bad day for server but sadly disappointed. I won't give it 1 star despite still being hungry and bad service. Place looked clean and was cute.

  • Melissa A.

Yup! I'm definitely a fan. There is always a wait on the weekends but it's so worth it. Go and expect a wait and that always makes it seem less painful. With the exception of slightly over cooked eggs (on a benedict! that's huge lol) one time, the food has been spot on. Iced tea was a little weak once but still OK. They cut pancakes off at noon so keep that in mind if your goal is a late breakfast and you're a pancake fan. I am not so this doesn't affect me. They still do French toast after noon though. The hash brown casserole is really good and it comes out HOT! Always a plus. Nice menu and great service.

I read the reviews , a lot of which are good so I decided to give it a try today . One thing I read about his place is that they roast their own turkey breast and corned beef . So with this , I thought ... order what they take pride in cooking in house . We ordered the turkey club and the corned beef Ruben . The service is fast and courteous and the place was had a lot of customers . The average cost of sandwich's is 7-8 dollars and most do not include fries but can be added for $1 . They come with potato chips . The turkey is sliced very thin , the lettuce and trimmings were fresh and the bread was fresh , The bacon was so hard I thought I would crack a tooth on it . Over all the taste was on the bland side . The Ruben didn't have very much corned beef on it , had cheese and sauerkraut on it ... again the flavor was on the bland side but the Ruben was better then the club . I did order the fries to go with my Ruben , the fries were crisp but on the greasy side . As I watched servers go by our table with trays of food , I do notice that most of the food that I seen was breakfast food . I did look at the breakfast menu before I ordered and most breakfast items start at $7 . So , I thought maybe this is more of a breakfast kind of place , but with that said do the match Breakfast $7 add a coffee $2 and then add the tip .. for 2 people a breakfast would easily be over $20 . Not for just the cost but for the overall taste and quality of food , Olga's on Belcher Rd .. Hands down is the Best . I cured my curiosity about Maggie Mae's .

I was referred to this restaurant by a coworker. I was very pleased. Maggie Mae's on the Bluffs is a small diner that has a small town feel. From the time you walk in the door the service is quick and friendly. I visited for breakfast and tried the crème brule french toast. This was very good, just the right texture to the bread, dusted with a course sugar. I will definitely visit Maggie Mae's again.

We are here last week for breakfast. I'm giving it 3stars due to our waitress leaving us hanging before ordering for a good 10minutes. The food was delicious and portions huge. I recommend sharing an entree. I had an omelette and only finished 3/4of it. Husband had burrito and it was so big he left 1/2of it. My daughter had the brownie batter pancakes(special) with one egg and hash brown casserole. Some type of sampler plate. She took 1pancake home and 1/2 casserole. Again, great food-just service was lacking at beginning. We sat outside and that was a nice bonus.

Visiting my brother in his neck of the woods and we always pick Maggie Mae's for breakfast. We sat in the new room this morning, fancier than the old one. Brother Richard must like the Greek omelet with rye toast, since that's what he always orders. Greg got eggs Benedict again, so he must enjoy that. I enjoyed my oatmeal, english muffin and poached egg. Not so much the fruit bowl, which tastes sort of old with mushy grapes, tasteless strawberries and hit or miss cantaloupe (not bad today.) But I've had it before and that's what you get. I was dismayed with the pancake I had yesterday. The pancake was soft and ordinary, but the syrup was what? Corn syrup? Breakfast syrup? I expected maple and was shocked with what I was served. People tolerate this? Or they've had it before and that's what you get? Anyway, a shout out to the waitresses and other front of house. Sweet, familiar, and so competent.

Sadly, I don't get to chow down at Maggie Mae's as often since I no longer live in FL. Happily, I get home 3-4 times a year and can walk to the location on the Bluff from my mom's place :) I prefer Breakfast to Blunch at M.M.'s It is always worth the wait. Nothing fancy, but it's clean and welcoming and they make a great breakfast for the entire family. We like the omelets, french toast, breakfast burritos, and there are often specials that I like to order from. I always get a side of hollandaise sauce, too. YUM!

I was looking for a place to take my family for Sunday brunch and found this place here on yelp with all the fantastic reviews. We were looking for a place that wouldn't be too pricey, with good service and a solid traditional breakfast. I hate to say it, but I was definitely a bit let down here. We called ahead for reservations for 5 since we knew it'd be busy. When we arrived, we realized this place probably doesn't hold more than 40 to 50 people and there are only 2 tables that can accomodate a large group, besides just adding a chair onto the end of the booth, which is what they ended up doing for us. The decor here is what I would expect from a quirky little family diner and was cute overall. They do have a wide selection of affordable breakfast and lunch dishes of all kind and a "healthy fare" breakfast section as well. I ordered the bustin' breakfast burrito and my family tried all the different eggs benedict. I think we all thought it was ok but nothing fabulous. Someone said the eggs in the benedict were overcooked and hard. The burrito was good when I put the salsa, jalapenos and pico on top, but without those additions it was quite boring. I ran out of all the toppings halfway through the burrito and would love to have asked the server for more, but she never came by our table again until it was time to bring the check. Also, by then we had all run out of drinks and had empty coffee and tea mugs on the table. Not fun. I will acknowledge they were extremely busy in here, but they need to have some extra hands on staff to accomodate all the guests. When the check came, she took one of our parties money to pay but not the other. We waited another 10 minutes for her to come by and get the other one and then we finally brought it up to the host to do it for us. The food was decent and like I said it's very affordable here, but I was less than impressed and wish we had gone to bonefish next door instead and spent a little more for a better experience.

What a cute diner. This was my first time and decided to come due to the great reviews on yelp. We came after the lunch rush and there was no wait! Food was great. We had eggs obrien with awesome cheesy hashbrowns. The biscuits are perfect and delicious - we will definitely be back.

This is a nice place to go for a Southern breakfast. We enjoyed it very much. We waited about 15 minutes to get a table on a Sunday morning. The coffee was very good and served right away, starting things off right. I had an omelet that was quite nice, and the biscuits and gravy, which I did not try looked very good as well. This place is very popular and crowded on weekends.

My new favorite breakfast restaurant! This place was so good I'm tempted to go every day of our vacation. At the very least I guarantee we will be returning multiple times. I ordered the bacon and avocado eggs Benedict with a side of bacon (who doesn't love extra bacon). Speaking of bacon, it was the best bacon ever! The avocado and bacon were nice additions to the classic Benedict - so delicious! I would have a hard time not ordering this again even though there are other items I'd like to try like the Tijuana Omelette. My husband ordered a more traditional breakfast, "Maggie's Duo" - two eggs, two pieces of bacon, two pancakes and a side order of biscuit with gravy. He loved his breakfast as well, although commented that the gravy was kind of blah and could have had more spice. The prices are very reasonable and service was good. Highly recommend!

The food was good. We had to wait for a table but when we finally sat and got to eat breakfast the food was worth it. There is some bad however. I feel that the service was fairly lackluster and the staff didnt care much. Bottom line, ignore the staff and the food is great and at very fair prices.

Found this place 5 years ago when me bought a house and moved. We received a nice welcome package from Our Town that offered a certificate for this place. Never would have tried it if it wasn't for that. Been a loyal customer ever since. I've brought family and friends and its everyone's favorite breakfast! We are there at least every other weekend now. And we have a 3 year old who always asks for Maggie's pancakes!

Came here on vacation for breakfast due to the reviews on Yelp. This place was great. I had the Bananas Foster French Toast and my daughter had the kid's chocolate chip pancakes. The waitress and hostess were extremely friendly and prompt. The food was FANTASTIC. The staff all interacted with my social butterfly of a four year old and she had a great time.

Excellent food and Dan excellent staff. I recommend the eggs Benedict Arnold or the hillbilly taters

Where to begin.... Breakfast is great. Service is great. Price is very reasonable. Kids love this place, old people love this place, and any family that lives in the area has been here at least a handful of times. I have tried almost everything on the menu, but my two favorite are 1) Pork carnitas hash 2) Turkey muffin sandwich

I was hopeful after our favorite place down the road, Cafe de Paris, was over crowded that this place would be a good alternative for a quick brunch. We arrived and it was busy, but we were seated right away. After 15 minutes we still had no drinks, when the server finally brought them she neglected to deliver silverware. Needless to say we didn't get silverware until a few minutes after the food was delivered, this certainly makes stirring hot tea interesting. Ultimately it was a case of bad service because the food was good. Nothing overly spectacular but good quality ingredients like we would use at home. The server spent more time trying to sell t shirts and talking at other tables, we had to flag her down to get refills on drinks. But warning to anyone craving pancakes at brunch time they don't serve them after noon! Sadly this one was a miss.

Best breakfast ever! I had the western omelette and my wife had the busting burrito. Both were amazing. We were here on vacation and realized this is a true gem! We will be back!!

Heard about Maggie Mae's on Yelp. A real southern breakfast is hard to find. Despite high hopes I still haven't found it. The pancakes had a great flavor but were like rubber. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly. Unfortunately the service wasn't good. The three stars are for the eggs, bacon and coffee. A disappointment.

We were looking for a place we had never been to before that served breakfast. We found this place and let me say it was great!!! Very nice staff, very good food, and great prices. We are a family of eight and we are always on the lookout for good food at a reasonable price. We will be sure to eat here again!

Great breakfast spot! Warm, inviting, cozy, cute decor... fresh squeezed OJ that was awesome. Dad's Best consisted of two eggs, amazing hash browns that were like potato chips on the crispy edges and cooked perfectly, and a first for this CT native, biscuits with lump sausage gravy. TO DIE FOR. (I could only eat one half for fear I'd explode.) But absolutely DIVIIIIIINE. I may need to relocate south. =) Great service, and incredibly reasonable prices!!!

This little place is great. I regularly go here, almost every Saturday. If I get there before 11 I usually get the créme brûlée French toast. This French toast is not like anything else I've ever tried, it's crunchy and gooey and hot and sweet and sticky and just heavenly. Its a creation of one of the servers and man is it delicious! If I get there after 11 (when they stop griddle items) I get the eggs Benedict Arnold. It's simply fantastic. The eggs are cooked to perfection and the gravy is actually really good. Most places sausage gravy tasted like wallpaper paste, but this stuff is different, it's perfectly balanced and has a great consistency. This little breakfast/lunch place is great, low prices and delicious. Go, you won't regret it.

We visited Maggie Mae's with our family and two small kids on a Tuesday morning. They have a good menu selection for everyone. All of our meals were excellent and the service was great! A really nice place w really awesome food!

Maggie Maes was awesome! they had us seated fast even with a ton of people there and a storm dumping rain everywhere, they were getting people inside and trying to keep them dry. I had the Farmers Feast and it was delicious! eggs, bacon, home fries, with some biscuits and gravy. all went together really well. My wife ordered their Big Breakfast which she said was good but she wasn't wowed by it. Apparently the Pancakes are a bit generic. On the whole I'll will return to try out the rest of their menu.

I'm surprised it took me this long to write a review! I've been coming here at least once a wee since I moved to Largo a year ago. Love love love maggie maes!! I go between the eggs benedict arnold (split biscuits with fried eggs, sausage, cheese and lump sausage gravy over the top), the amazing housemade corned beef hash, or the normal eggs benedict. The man always get the hillbilly taters (home Fries with onions, eggs, bacon, sausage, and jalapenos, cooked together and topped with gravy). I've tried just about everything on the menu, but that gravy is so amazing, I have to have something with it! Service is always super fast, however plan on waiting a bit if you go on a weekend morning. There's also outdoor seating, which is nice for the cooler months. All in all, this is my favorite place in Largo. Oh, and we've yet to bust $20 for the 2 of us. Very fair pricing. Just go, you won't regret it.

I meet my Mom there for breakfast every month or so and have never been disappointed. From SOS to Eggs Benedict Arnold... big portions and full of flavor. Service is usually excellent, except for last visit.

Can't go wrong with this place for breakfast. I don't even like breakfast so it is hard for me to want to even go to any breakfast place. I will go here with a smile! Love their corn beef and hash... Really good! Not dog food like a lot of restaurants serve. We go there often and it is always packed with people.

A fun hole-in-the-wall diner type place. Its tucked away in this strip mall right next to the Marriott Resort in Sand Key. So if you're staying there and don't want to buy a crazy expensive hotel breakfast, this place is the place to go! I had the biscuits and gravy and it was wonderful. The biscuit was a little overly moist and not as flaky as I would have wanted but the gravy was on-point. Fries, burgers, and a whole lot of other items on the menu. Its such a laid back place because they are only opened from 7a-2pm. Closes real early so everyone can get on the beach! Haha. Service is super friendly but a little slow. If im ever back in the area, Ill def come back for some breakfast!

WOW for the food and a double WOW for our waitress!! My wife and I were on holiday in the Indian Rocks area and were looking for a great breakfast place. We were told about Maggies so we gave it a try. First person we encountered was Alison and it was all up hill from then. Alison was so friendly and attentive to us. Not being familiar with some items on the menu (we live in the UK) Alison explained everything in detail to us so we knew exactly how it was prepared and presented. The food was absolutely delicious but the service Alison provided these 2 old Brits was second to none!! We will return here time and time again, not only for the food but for the outstanding service and friendliness of Alison!!

If you want a large portioned gut busting breakfast - look no further. The place is quaint and clean and provides outside seating. It tends to get very busy, so just prepare to wait. The cheddar cheese hash browns will fill your plate! The omelet was delicious and cooked to perfection.

I was a little disappointed last weekend. We showed up at 1:20 which I know is only 40 minutes to close, but still.....the scrambled eggs were dry and luke warm, the bacon was dry and cold and the fries were dry and cold. Obviously they were the last of the remaining batches, but it didn't taste good.

This is my favorite place for breakfast hands down! The food is always fantastic but the service you get from Alison is second to none. I work in the hospitality industry so I know good service and she is exceptional! I always get the Bacon avocado benedict with crispy home fries and it is to die for. Alison always makes it a great experience which is why I go back week after week. Go check out Maggie's and ask for Alison. You will NOT be disappointed!

The more upscale and newer cousin of Maggie Mae's on the beach. They share exactly the same menu, but this location is newer and much more spacious. I definitely recommend it any time of day.

My mom's favorite. And mine as well when I come home. Good home town breakfast at a really reasonable price. Cooked to order. Always packed. Just love it. When I come home for a visit, I take the limo to mom's and that's the first place we go after my overnight flight. Just love the place.

Great breakfast spot. Stopped on our way out of town and were all pleased. My basic bacon/eggs/pancakes/grits combo was excellent, with props going to, strangely enough, the grits. They were rich and tasted great. My wife's version of Maggie's Mess was full of the fresh veggies she requested. My son's Eggs Benedict Arnold was ridiculously rich and was almost more than he could eat, which is saying something for a teenager. If I lived nearby I'd probably be there every day.

We tried Maggie's after seeing the good rating on Yelp and we were not disappointed. The coffee was good and cup was never empty. Service was good as well. I had the meat lovers omelette and my wife had the Maggie's mess ( pick 4 items to mix with scrambled eggs), both were excellent and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. We ordered two waffles to go for our kids that wouldn't get out of bed (u know how teenagers are!!!). Kids said they were very good as well. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends!!!

Awesome food, great service. Dishes I recommend are: signature corned beef hash, ruben sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, banana walnut pancakes(served only before 11am). Pretty much everything I've had here is amazing, but that is just a list of some of my favorites.

The Food is great! They are always busy but somehow get you seated quickly. The price is lower than expected and the place is CLEAN... My favorite is the regular Reuben sandwich, but everything I have tried is excellent. Try them you be happy you did!!!!
